I really wish I felt as hopeful as this song sounds. social distancing is depressing, living through a pandemic is terrifying, and doing all that under the rule of oligarchs who value their bottom line more than the lives of the millions of people they SHOULD be serving and answering to is INFURIATING. and I'm not the one to tell you HOW to build working class solidarity - there's plenty of smart and impassioned organizers who can do that part - but what I can do is turn every last drop of hope and determination I can muster into sounds to share with you

this song is a gift and I refuse to take a single cent for it until this pandemic is over. instead - if you are able - please support your local music scene by donating to your favorite venue's crowdfund, and/or support your community by donating to a local mutual aid organization

please remember that this is not "just a bad flu" and that the lives of the elderly, the immunocompromised, essential workers, and others who happen to get unlucky are NOT an acceptable price to pay to maintain the old status quo. please remember that none of us are invincible - but that together we'd be unstoppable. and remember to wash your hands!
