i think i'll lie down on the floor and stay there for a while there's little else to do since stressing out went out of style midnight walks to clear my head are clearly headed south by that, I mean antarctic, so i'd rather not go out am i losing hope or is hope losing me? i haven't got much left to lose so i'll just wait and see i hope the loss of hope won't also make me lose my mind cause although everything is fine, my mind's become a little hard to find everybody always says that things will be all right but i can't tell my right from left, or figure out just why i don't know how or why i've been bereft of common sense this time insomnia's replaced my sense but it stays away at night (hope is never lost as long as you draw breath and even if you've lost yourself, you'll find yourself again the road ahead's not easy - there's a long way left to go and things may not be fine right now, but i can promise you'll find your way home)

underneath the summer sun when we met we were so young delicate and small and low as we watched each other grow overshadowed from our birth we grew tall but without pride curving over to the side we could not be what we were worms swarmed up from underground tried to break us, make us rot eat us from the inside out I broke free but you could not underneath the summer sun when you left we were so young

about

happy Trans Day Of Visibility. visibility is a double-edged sword but I don't feel like getting eloquent about it. this is a song I wrote seven years ago sung by me from seven years ago, and a song I wrote three years ago sung by me this afternoon

if you are not trans, I would ask that you please drop a few dollars for this lil double
